Review of Lost River (2015) by John K — 17 Jul 2015
Visually arresting, although the story is all over the place. Likely intended to be a trippy midnight-movie homage to Lynch/Winding-Refn that serves as an allegory for the slow demise of Detroit, but Gosling's inability to tie together the disparate elements of his story into a cohesive whole hold this film back from being something truly special.
