Review of Lost in Yonkers (1993) by Billy — 10 Jan 2007
I really enjoyed this movie. What a great story and great performances. Mercedes Ruehl is wonderful as the loving but just a little bit 'off' Aunt, and Richard Dreyfuss just shines in his role as the her brother and tough-guy Uncle to the boys.
It will make you both laugh and cry along with the characters. In the end it shows that everyone needs to be loved, and as long as you have that and a little "moxie" you have what you need to get by.
