Review of Lost in Translation (2003) by Rhys G — 30 Mar 2012
Brilliantly written, directed, and acted. A great hat-trick that becomes all the more obvious as you watch the film. Malaise and monotony are illuminated through humour and humour illuminated through sadness.
It's a great, unique paradox and unlike any other film I've seen. One of the best.
