Review of Lost in Translation (2003) by Ricardo L — 26 Jul 2013
Love it, but in the end I just couldn't buy that plot of those 2 being more than friends. That killed the joy. And I thought a climax was missing. But I loved Johanson, Murray, Farris and the photography. It's a great movie, very entertaining, but I didn't like the end. If they were trying to make us think that Charlie and Bob were something more than friends, I guess they didn't picked the right cast. The chemistry between them was there the whole movie, but always as partners, fellows, friends, not as lovers.
PS.: I fucking loved the part where they're in the strip club and the song by the Peaches starts playing.
