Review of Lost in Translation (2003) by Louisa T — 09 Sep 2013
Lovely film, some of murray's best work, a latter-day Walter Matthau hang dog lookalike. Wonderfully layered and nuanced relationship between the leads (nice to see a woman at the reins - hence the nuance!) with material on celebrity, ageing and love culminating in a wonderful 'unspoken' non-Hollywood ending.
Deserved the Oscar.
