Review of Lost in Translation (2003) by Haresh W — 08 Jul 2014
Lost in Translation one of the best comedy drama movies if not THE best comedy drama movie. Billy Murray and Scarlett Johansson play off each other and have amazing chemistry together and the surreal felling of being lost in Translating and you really feel a sense of not being to able to understand and even though the do do kinda-sorta end up together, the friendship and bond between the 2 characters are just lovely.
The situations that these 2 individuals go through and bond with each other is just lovely to watch and the way the comedy works in this movie is just sublime. My one gripe with this movie is the infamous whisper scene.
It leaves me puzzled to this day. None the less, a great, great, great, GREAT movie.
