Review of Lost in Translation (2003) by Kyle O — 17 May 2015
When people ask me what my favorite movie is this is my go to answer, hands down, no exceptions. The hyper realistic, gritty yet casual take of 2 strangers caught in a situation and foreign land they both don't want to be in, makes for a hiliarious, down to earth, and heart warming experience that will fill you with hope and optimism.
Bill Murray is a GOD and nothing beats that opening shot of ScarJo's butt. I love, love, love this movie. I find it's best watched at 2 a.m. and when you're at a point in your life where you can relate the most to the characters.
To be lifted up by this movie you have to watch it when you are down. Just let this movie change your life.
