Review of Lost in Translation (2003) by Rachel A — 30 Jul 2012
This was on my summer list of movies to watch. All I can say is that I am so glad it was. To be honest I was never a big fan of Scarlett Johansson; I feel like she was just put in movies because of her looks.
But I have to say I am a fan now. The fact that she was only 17 at the time...she just acted well beyond her years. I even appreciated how naturally beautiful she looked. Bill Murray was comic genius.
The way he just sulked around in the first 20 minutes just made me laugh even more. Props to Sofia Coppola on this fantastic example of what comedic films can be.
