Review of Lost in Space (1998) by Skyler I — 26 Jun 2011

I watched and loved this film a lot when I was younger for a myriad of reasons, the most prominent of which being that I was (am) madly in love with Lacey Chabert. I still like it now, just not nearly as much as before.

It's very action driven as oppossed to character or plot driven, which by definiton make the film mindless and stupid. Whatever plot there is is confusing and riddled with holes, ridiculous moments and stupid dialogue ("I don't like the sound of that sound.

") is one such example. It can be fun at parts, but don't expect much in the way of intellectual stimulation. But filmmakers? Stephen Hopkins? You forgot to give your movie an ending.
