Review of Lost in La Mancha (2002) by Carla Rene M — 14 Jul 2008
A heart breaking look at the difficult life of a film maker - especially one whose imagination is bigger than Hollywood.
Though the story of the constant hardships Gilliam has endured just to see his movies completed (and in some cases fail) is fascinating, you need not be a fan. Anyone with an interest in Don Quixote, or the artistic process behind movies will come out of it with something.
Perhaps what is most interesting/sad is getting a glimpse at how amazing The Man Who Killed Don Quixote could have been.
