Review of Lost in La Mancha (2002) by Ina S — 22 May 2009
You are a movie buff? Watch this! Detailed, funny and devasting account of the failed filming of Terry Gilliam's Don Quixote movie, production was stopped after 6 horrible days. The "unmaking of" allows for an insight into filmmaking that no "making of" could ever offer.
Gilliam's commitment and pain is palpable, and it is as painful as it is interesting to see the movie fail. I still want to see that film, though!
