Review of Lost in America (1985) by Shaun I — 06 Jun 2009
The more and more I see him, the more I realize that Albert Brooks is my hero lol. His neurotic tendencies and crazy rants are hilarious and the stuff of legends. In this, Brooks and his wife go on a quest to "find themselves" and "touch indians".
The excellent Julie Hagerty starts of being the excellent straightwomen to crazy Albert, but then has a little "breakdown" of her own (come back to me 22!). Incredibly funny film that practically requires repeat viewing, and becomes instantly quotable right after watching.
Thanks for introducing me to this one Wendy!
