Review of Lost Horizon (1937) by Christine R — 08 Feb 2010
Not your typical Capra movie, but Lost Horizon is a great classic worth watching. The chaos in the beginning leads way to an unlikely kidnapping and plane crash, which all culminates in the discovery of a valley in the Himalayas called Shangri-La.
Ronald Colman is excellent as Robert Conway, the man chosen to lead the people in this unbelievable Utopia. There are many other twists and turns, but in the end you get the feeling that Shangri-La is something that is real if you believe.
Would love to see the movie witt all of the lost footage.
