Review of Lost Highway (1997) by Mônica A — 21 Jul 2008
I was originally going to give this a 9 for dislike of some of the soundtrack, but the film itself is just too good. Similar in a way to Mulholland Dr., this is another piece in Lynch's 'Hollywood Trilogy'.
The film itself is a quite a puzzle, but like all Lynch films, it's totally open to interpretation. By that I mean whatever you think in the end can be right if you want it to be. That's the beauty of a David Lynch film, for a couple hours you get to sit back and be given pieces to a puzzle, and then you can still be putting it together a week later.
Lost Highway is an excellent film. Definitely for the true Lynch fans.
