Review of Lost Highway (1997) by Yahoo T — 24 Oct 2008
Probably the 3rd-most bautiful love story ever...! No, I'm kidding. But actually... maybe I do not, who knows. The movie is about a very sensitive view on love, lust, relationship and obsession. The whole bloodstained story or antistory around this very core is just an abstraction of sense and it's manifestation.
He who still needs a straight story today 2008, should not be adviced to this thing, which for my opinion is more an artefact than a movie. But if you do watch it (like I did about 30 times and in the beginning discovering and understanding more and more, then later less and less), there will remain a feeling and a sense for something we anyway cannot understand by intellect, but by heart: Human behaviour.
Lost Highway should hang on our walls as a "moving picture".
