Review of Lost Highway (1997) by Aquiles V — 02 Dec 2013
As usual, Lynch knows how to create an involving and mysterious atmoshphere, while leaving the audience confused. The story is complex, and this is the kind of film that doesn't give the answers at the end, leaving most to interpretation.
There is also a lot of explicit sex, which I felt was too much, but I guess it made sense for the plot. It plays with reality, dreams, identities, and while I like Mulholland Drive better, I thought this one was pretty intriguing as well.
