Review of Lost Highway (1997) by Jacques A — 22 Sep 2008
From the first time I saw this film (in full screen, even), I was completely entranced by every frame. The film just flies by, yet the pacing is slow so that it sucks you in and holds you tightly. The direction is superb and the acting, as always, works to suit David Lynch's vision, whatever that may be.
For, nothing is spelled out in this film. What exactly is happening is up to the viewer to interpret. What really scares me, though, is that every time I watch this film, it begins to make more sense! I know, it's kind of spooking me, too!
