Surreal cinema from the master of surreal cinema. Although practically indecipherable as a holistic piece, Lynch characteristically seeks to dissolve the question of whether what is seen on screen is an objective reality or subjective experience by providing his "subjective objects" a nightmarish agency that penetrates the real.
