Review of Lost Highway (1997) by Daniel M — 19 Nov 2008
All the elements of a David Lynch movie are here: circular plot narrative; doppelgangers and alter egos; a creeping sense of existential dread; red curtains. If you've seen any of David Lynch's other movies, you've mostly seen this one.
But if you pick only a few of his to watch, this is one of his best. It's compelling, unsettling, and utterly intriguing.
