Review of Lost Highway (1997) by Robert G — 13 Jul 2010
This is my first foray into the movies of David Lynch, and I gotta say I loved this one. It was creepy, it was mysterious, but most importantly it was interesting. Even when I didn't quite know what was going on, I wanted to know more (this extended to even after the movie was over). Who are these people? Did anybody really get murdered?
David Lynch creates a universe that is like a Quentin Tarantino on an acid trip. I was hypnotized for the whole ride. The cast does a great job with the material as well, with creep-extraordinaire Robert Blake being the top contender. Can't wait to see what else Mr. Lynch has in store.
