Review of Lost Highway (1997) by Zachary K — 19 Jun 2012
Possibly David Lynch's most frustrating film to date. The first half is pretty good, but it starts falling apart as soon as Bill Pullman is inexplicably replaced halfway through. Good turns by Pullman and Patricia Arquette; Robert Blake and Robert Loggia are terrific.
The film looks great, but the script is incoherent and it's not nearly as entertaining as Lynch's excellent "Blue Velvet".
