Review of Lost Boys: The Tribe (2008) by Richard H — 10 Sep 2008
A very good film and for a straight dvd film its the best ive ever seen.
That said this is no master piece and the missing star goes to angus sutherland, he has the charisma of a brick and acts like a tree he has a couple of moments but then nothing. The story is basically the same as the original and its so obvious they change a couple of things to make it more attractive to a modern audience but its a basic remake. The bad points aside there is plenty of action and a lot of gore which shocked me cos I was expecting they couldnt afford it with the budget etc also the action is awesome but considering this was directed by the man who brought us the third installment of the from dusk til dawn series I was surprised it was as good.
Bad points aside corey feldman is hilarious the sorys ok the action and the gore are very well done and just 90 minutes of pure fun..very good.
