Review of Lost Boys: The Tribe (2008) by Leigh O — 13 Oct 2008
Not as clever or well-written as the original. Gone are the cool soundtrack and fabulous set-pieces.
Also, the story is seriously underdeveloped - the third act makes no sense and the head vampire's lackeys are despatched far too easily.
But this is a dark, brooding vampire film in it's own right. And it is great to see the return of Edgar Frogg.
Oh, and Sam from the first film, in his strange little end credits cameo sequence.
Favourite line; 'I can't be a vampire... I'm a vegetarian!'.
