Sequels arent always bad, this one had merit in trying (I said the word TRYING) to keep some of that same feeling with the first one: another Sutherland, both Coreys, the main 2 people are cousins to the main 2 in movie #1.
Update this movie with more hip music, throw in more gore + sex + nudity to fit the times, etc...it was a pretty refreshing movie but it was still only eye-candy most of the time.
