Review of Lost Boys: The Tribe (2008) by Bastet 0 — 02 Jan 2009
I never saw the first one in the series, but I know it has a big following so this one must be a turd in comparison (Plumpossum's review not withstanding).
When will Hollywood catch on that the only people that want to see movie's starring surfers are surfers? And that everyone else thinks the hollywood surfer is a lameass, not a badass?
The acting in this film was inexcusable (I guess it was only a matter of time before we found a lame Sutherland in the lineage) and I have no idea what Feldman did with his voice- but Frogg was an apt last name because of it. I can't say it's the worst movie I've ever seen (Blood Rayne anyone?) but it is definitely made for TV quality.
The only redeemable quality it had was the soundtrack, which if one wanted to enjoy, should skip the film entirely and go straight to the CD rack.
