Review of Lost Boys: The Tribe (2008) by Cade H — 15 Feb 2010
The original Lost Boys is one of my all time favorite movies. I knew this one would not live up to the first one and I was right. The biggest flaw was the fact that none of the characters were memorable or cool like they were in the original.
They tried so hard to copy the good parts from the first movie and it did not work out. Some scenes were exact copies and some of the characters tried to replicate what was done in Lost Boys 1. The one awesome thing about this movie was that Edgar Frog (Corey Feldman) kept his role from before and from him I got the feel and nostalgia from the original.
As a stand alone vampire movie it was not bad, but as a sequel to one of my favorite flicks it was a let down. Lets hope for a Lost Boys 3 with the original cast :).
