Review of Lost Boys: The Tribe (2008) by Paul C — 15 Aug 2011
There were some very small parts that I enjoyed in this film, but it doesn't take away the fact that it is a sorry excuse compared to the original. The two best parts of the film were the first 10 minutes and the part after the credits.
That is about it really. The cast was pretty horrible in this film. I am sorry Angus Sutherland. I know you are Kiefer Sutherland's half brother, but he can out act you in anything; including the role of a head vampire.
The first movie had the song, "Cry Little Sister" in it which was a horrifying feeling when played and really fit throughout the movie. In this one, it was more of a goth rock version only played during a sex scene.
It totally ruined the song completely. The story was all over the place and not good at all. The original Lost Boys was good and there was suppose to be a sequel called, The Lost Girls; but it was canceled.
So this made this third one instead that really doesn't fit much. Oh yeah. Also you would think after all the years Corey Feldman had time to work on this role it wouldn't suck like in the first one; he made it worse.
There is nothing really exciting about this film. I mean it had Tom Savini and a special appearance by something if you look in the cast list. But that is it.
