Ok, so if you are looking for something similar to the original cult classic then you WILL be dissappointed. This is basically a dumb-ass teen horror, with a passing resemblence to the original Lost Boys, but the tone and style of the film are completely different.
However, if you take this film for what it is and don't expect another masterpiece it's actually pretty cool. Well I think so anyway.
