Review of Lost Boys: The Tribe (2008) by Alex S — 09 Jan 2009
Boy A was an excellent movie. It was an emotional roller coaster. Just when you thought everything was perfect the roller coaster stops and ends in a depressing way. The main character gets a second chance in life after prison for murder and became a humble moral person after his release.
He falls in love, takes ecstasy, beats up a group of men who physically assaults his friends, develops friendship with his parole officer. The story is intriguing from start to finish. Definitely worth watching at least once.
At times the English accent is hard to follow, but overall a great, heart touching movie worthy of winning oscars for the actors and screenplay, but should also been awarded best foreign film of 2008.
Highly recommended.
