Review of Lost Boys: The Thirst (2010) by Phil H — 15 Oct 2010
Now yes I know your all thinking this is just a straight to DVD fast produced mess BUT its actually not a bad vampire flick, nothing too original of course but better than the second for sure. The franchise has definitely taken the 'Blade' route for this outting and to be honest its not too bad a rip even if the whole look, soundtrack (very nice selection and reminded me of 'Interview with the Vampire') and style is so ripped its painful hehe but it does work nicely and its good fun seeing the Frog brothers back together.
Plot wise its not that original as the boys just go after the head vamp as you would expect but there are afew nice little twists at the end with characters, a good tribute to Haim with closure for him, previous characters and a great Wolfy concept to follow on with it seems ;) nice but again not very original. A good finish to the trilogy but a fourth is tempting after seeing this but maybe that shouldn't happen.
