Review of Lost and Delirious (2001) by Simon P — 18 Jun 2007
Absolutley heartwrenching. this movie really surprised me with excellent performances from Piper Perabo, Jessica Pare, Jackie Burroughs and Mischa Barton. The story is about a love that can never be between Pauline and Tori, two roomates at an all girls school in Canada. A well thought out emotional story with characters that you can't help but root for. An exceptional and moving scene is watching Pare's character Tori fall apart when she tells her sister that there isn't anything going on between them and you can see that Tori doesn't believe her own words, so she turns from her sister to walk away and just falls apart. one of my favorite scenes. A great love story.
"Liar! Liar, Liar, Liar! You've all got your heads up your assholes because love is. It just is and nothing you can say can make it go away because it is the point of why we are here, it is the highest point and once you are up there, looking down on everyone else, you're there forever. Because if you move, right, you fall. You fall."- Pauline.
