Review of Lost and Delirious (2001) by Steve C — 28 Jan 2008
Starts out as an interesting arthouse drama about the characters' search for individual identity, sexuality, and friendship. Yet, as the movie progresses, it turns out to be nothing much more than a cliched melodrama played out just a tad better than the average teen drama crud.
The ending was also a bit too obvious in its reach for "metaphorical artsiness." I don't recommend this movie, but it's still watchable, thanks in part to Piper Perabo's riveting performance.
