"Clueless," from 1995, was a well-acted, clever, satirical and observant look at California high school kids. Five years later in 2000, writer-director Amy Heckerling came up with an even more insightful story about college life at NYU.
"Loser," starring Jason Biggs and Mena Suvari, is funny, big-hearted and cynical without being too condescending. It's one of the best movies I've seen in a while.
