Review of Lorna's Silence (2008) by Brook K — 24 Jan 2010
As is typical with the Dardenne brothers, the complexity of the characters and their actions forces the audience's empathy to swing to and fro in search of someone to love. The film is visually quite pretty.
However, it lacks the rawness of the Dardenne's past work, both in look and in narrative.
