Review of Lorenzo's Oil (1992) by Hrodland C — 28 Apr 2008
A truly powerful story. George Miller strikes gold with this one (pun intended, but it's not that kind of oil). Normally I'm not a fan of these medical dramas but this one was just so well done that I couldn't help be sucked in.
I even had to fight, with limited success, back tears when the end credits began to roll. Only complaint is that Nolte's accent sounds forced for a lot of the film.
