Review of Lorenzo's Oil (1992) by Lady M — 14 Dec 2008
I find it hard to sit down and watch "disease" movies, but this one was so different. It wasn't just about a sick little boy but also about the parents who refused to do nothing and watch their little boy die, but wanted to fight the awful disease.
This was such a great movie and it, as I can only put it, HURT my heart. There was so much emotion in this movie, I could feel the parents pain, how they said things to Lorenzo or how they said things to each other.
The hurt in their eyes did all but seer the image in your mind. This movie was so good and I would recommend it to anyone. I just wanted to jump into the movie and make everything all better and at the end of it all, it let a mellow sort of happy feeling pulsing through me.
That was a first for me.... 5 stars!!
