Review of Lorenzo's Oil (1992) by Gustav M — 13 Apr 2007
An amazing story told by incredible film makers and actors. Susan Sarandon and Nick Nolte are brilliant together, and I truly believed the pain they were going through at the expense of their son's seemingly terminal illness, and the fight they ensue to find a cure to save him and many other boys alike with the mysterious illness, named ADL.
I was captivated throughout the film, and, I can't really say I enjoyed it, because it wasn't a happy film, but it was an incredible experience to go through, and EVERYONE should see this film. Susan Sarandon especially deserved the academy award she was only nominated for in this film.
One of the first good films I've seen in 2006.
