A very complex film about Germany at the end of World War II. Lore is slowly figuring out the lies her war-criminal parents have taught her on an abandoned journey to Grandma's. Lore's journey becomes even more complicated, when she must learn to trust Thomas to survive; the one person she was taught to hate: a Jew.
