Review of Lords of Dogtown (2005) by Anna S — 05 Jan 2010

I found this film only mildly entertaining, and thats half attributed to the fact that Emile Hirsch is distractingly good looking. I felt like the movie jumped around a lot and didn't really stay focused, which resulted in a lack of depth with many of the characters.

Overall it wasnt an awful movie, it just didnt really impact me in any way. I have no knowledge of the skateboarding revolution in the 1970's so maybe I am not the best person to judge how well this movie succeeded in accurately portraying the Z-Boys.
