Welcome to the birth of skateboarding lords of dogtown tells the story of a skate group called the Z boys which they sooner or later create a sport called skateboarding which stacy (the main character) is going through problems of his own his mother and her boyfriend have been forced to move which jay also works for the founder of the skating group called zephyr of the course word may sound similar to the name of the song zephyr's song by the red hot chili peppers which then later on in the film the group has skating compettions which they win which even though during the end the film gets sad because we find out that sid dies from a life killing illness the film has a great script written by one of the members named stacy peralta lords of dogtown is a great film about skateboarding film which it is based on a true story set in venice,california 1975 highly recommended when the film had came out on june 3rd 2005 the film was a box office flop and was considered a cult favorite later on which the film had opened at #7 because of the family comedy film called madagascar highly recommended a great film about skateboarding and another thing about the film which is an unfortnate shame actor heath ledger who is in this film died in january of 2008 from a drug overdose so R.I.P HEATH LEDGER april 4th 1979-january 28th 2008.
