Though Ledger puts on a particularly excellent performance as the terribly underused Skip Engblom, the film is still underdeveloped, somewhat unengaging, drawn-out, confusing and has little actual storyline progression that's sloppy when available.
I believe I can best describe "Lords of Dogtown" as neither good nor bad, just not very interesting.
