Review of Lords of Dogtown (2005) by Ty P — 07 Feb 2012
Surprising this wasn't that bad. An almost mocumentary, it stuck to itself through the whole film and didn't waiver into to trying to be to cool. It's story is a little done with the friends go their seperate ways once fame and money come their way, but at the end shows what was always dear to all of them.
Some great performances amongst it all too, with Heath Ledger playing his first different and convincing role since 'Two hands'. Bu the true star being Emile Hirsch who plays the perfect anarchistic bruiser, and is barely recognisable in character from his role in 'The Girl Next Door.
' This showing what a great and adapatable he could become.
