Review of Lords of Dogtown (2005) by Benton M — 19 Aug 2012
I'll be the first to admit that watching a bunch of kids from the 70's with long hippy hair can be an exercise in patience. That said, when one collectively understands how the movie is able to show the four main characters forming through own identities and how they cope with success and disappointment, the film becomes much more pleasing.
It's not the first movie I'd recommend is a UFO landed and aliens demanded to watch what we call 'movies', but it's worth your time if you want to watch something different.
