Review of Lord of War (2005) by Adam U — 25 Feb 2012
I love Nicolas Cage, although normally his choice of films is awful. This one gladly brakes this tradition. The film it's self is very cool and quite different. The storyline, while I found it a little predictable that isn't really a bad thing.
There isn't many other ways this could have ended. While trying to live a double life with his dream woman and dealing arms with anyone with the money to make it worth his time. Nicolas is brilliant as the smooth talking businessman.
Ian Holm is also very good, well for the little screen time he has. Ethan Hawke is a by the book Interpol agent thats trying to catch out the quick thinking gunrunner.
