Review of Lord of War (2005) by Marcus G — 08 Dec 2009
Fascinating subject matter which hadn't been touched on much before this movie came along; moderate acting made up for by a smart and witty script; stunning locations; excellent direction and cinematography; and freakin' awesome soundtrack.
A very good movie which not only showcases some of the more and more swept under the carpet and underpublicised 3rd world human rights atrocities, but also raises some ethical questions about the morality of dealing in arms, because, afterall, "guns don't kill people, people kill people".
