What "Kid"s and "Requiem for a Dream" are to illicit drugs, "Lord of War" is to international arms dealing. Approaches perfection from so many angles. The plot is written so tightly and the post-production so deftly integrated that the film risks coming off as overly contrived.
But it's so entertaining that the viewer never has time to consider this.
