Review of Lord of the Flies (1991) by Marty P — 23 Aug 2008

My first review was a lot kinder on this film, having now seen the original 1963 adaptation, I would have to say it is better, this one is too Americanised and is aimed to entertain too much and is aimed at a wider market, and thus loses a lot of the story's "real" message, I've heard it called a bunch of American kids dropping F-Bombs (not my word) and talking about TV, thats not fair either, it has its place, but its not as good as the first one.
