Review of Lord of the Flies (1990) by Christa B — 02 Sep 2007

Absolutely some of THE BEST CASTING I have ever seen in a major motion picture. Now the film wasn't all that great, BUT after reading the book I had an idea in my head of what every kid should look like even if the author described the characters differently.

Then I watched the 1963 version of the film and it was blahhhhhhh but stuck to the book really well. This film on the other hand, really didn't stick to the book but it was more enjoyable and the kids looked and acted just like I had pictured.

And I love films about corruption in children so this was just so interesting, and entertaining and horrifying all at the same time. LOVE IT!
