Review of Lord Jim (1965) by Orlok W — 22 Aug 2013

Beautiful thought provoking epic. Its length was rather ambitious and it's ending confusing. Regardless, I enjoyed it, and I enjoyed seeing Peter otoole as a lead in a war type epic again, not sure if he fit the bill as a sailor, but it worked. Lucas is also a pleasure to hear with his exotic accent. The girl was beautiful, but not really given much to work with in terms of scenes or dialogue.

I particularly enjoyed the theme of redemption, since it is one I often ponder and identify with.
