Review of Looper (2012) by Jason C — 08 Apr 2016
There are time travel paradox issues in this film that cause sufficient confusion to undermine the story. Add in JG-L's prosthetics (to make him look more like a younger Bruce Willis) and there are too many distractions for what might have been a classic of the genre.
If you're going to have a deep storyline that requires some thought to process, dismissing your audience's intelligence with basic failures of logic is a paradox too far.
